Apple said it sold 4.69 million iPads during the quarter, up from 7.33 million in the first quarter.
The Cupertino, California recently created gadget, sold 3,760,000 Macintosh computers during the quarter, up 28 percent a year, and 18.65 million iPhones, up 113 percent over a year ago.
Advertising: The story continues below Apple sold 9,020,000 iPods during the quarter, up 17 percent decrease in the unit a year ago.
"With the quarterly revenue growth of 83 percent and profit growth of 95 percent, we're firing on all cylinders," said Apple CEO Steve Jobs said in a statement.
"We will continue to innovate on all fronts during the rest of the year," said Jobs, who went on medical leave in January with an undisclosed illness.
